Job Description POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
The Parts Advisor acts as principal contact between parts department and retail counter customers for the sale of parts and accessories.
The primary goals are to provide customer satisfaction and maximize dealership sales of parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS To model by example the Company's mission statement by being an empowered, passionate and positive associate who provides exceptional personalized service to the Company's guests and community.
To live by the Standards of Excellence set forth by Dimmitt Automotive Group.
Provide fast and courteous service to retail customers.
Sell additional parts through the use of related item sales techniques.
Check-in daily parts orders.
Answer the telephone in accordance with dealership guidelines.
Solicit orders or answer questions as appropriate.
List and price out parts on counter tickets.
Provide the necessary information for special orders to the inventory control clerk if a part is not in stock.
Maintain the special order parts inventory in a clean and organized manner.
Maintain records of all special order parts and notify the customer who made the order.
Maintain a customer backorder file.
Participate in conducting a perpetual inventory.
Help maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and other technical information and bulletins.
Keep work area clean, free of debris, safe, and put away loose stock.
Perform other duties and tasks as directed by management.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS.
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training High School diploma or the equivalent Basic working knowledge of Dealership computer systems Excellent selling, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Valid in-state Driver's license and clean driving record Lift up to 50lbs New car dealership parts dept exp preferred CDK and Import experience preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
